Divers on the hunt for litter in Brome Lake
On Saturday, July 16th, about 20 volunteer divers from the organization ''Faisons notre part'' took part in a Brome Lake cleanup. The Domaine des Érables campsite had given them access to its lakefront from which the divers set off one after the other on a “litter hunt”. The hunt continued from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and resulted in a bountiful harvest: orange construction cones, plastic chairs, beer and coke bottles, fishing equipment, baby pacifiers, old tires, etc., a heterogeneous loot if ever there was one ...

The first ever educational patrol in Brome Lake this summer
Friday, June 3rd, 2022 – Renaissance Brome Lake (RBL) is launching a brand-new educational patrol project in partnership with the Town of Brome Lake to raise awareness among residents about the impacts of rainwater runoff on their properties and worksites.
Léa Couture, a student completing her bachelor’s degree in Environment at McGill and Brome Lake native, will be knocking on doors to meet citizens.

Renaissance Brome Lake organizes the Coldbrook Creek Clean-up
On June 21st, Renaissance Brome Lake’s (RBL) administrators and employees cleaned up Coldbrook Creek in Brome Lake.

RLB recommends the implementation of a Boating Zone for Wake and Surf boats
